Novo Serus J Custom Lake Placid Blue Sparkle

The Novo line-up includes some beautiful models, but these can also be specified completely to your wishes via the Custom Shop. We have taken the opportunity to have a Serus built with some interesting specifications!

Masterfully designed by the famous Dennis Fano and built by the expert team in Nashville, these guitars are in a class of their own!

This Serus J is Novo's most recognizable model, and is a great versatile workhorse with its comfortable contoured body. However, the 'J' also draws inspiration from the Jazzmaster and distinguishes itself with the new 'Novo-branded' Mastery bridge and vibrato. Dressed in a Lake Placid Blue Sparkle finish it also looks stunning, and the combination with the mint green pickguard is particularly stylish!

The neck is maple, and on this custom Serus is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with MOTO dot inlays and compound radius for a comfortable playing experience. The neck is 'tempered', which basically means the same as 'roasted' or 'torrefied' and provides an aged look and more resonance. The matching headstock is the proverbial icing on the cake!

The finish has also been given a light distress by Novo, and this guitar already exudes a good dose of vintage flair and is a pleasure to play. In addition to the volume and tone controls adorned with Dumble-style knobs, it has a three-way switch for more than enough tonal variation; the Fralin P90's deliver any sound you could possibly want to hear without any problems!
