The Clearlink Receive ISO Converter is designed for professional stage and studio environments where signal needs to travel more than 15 to 20 feet without loss. Most commonly used in combination with the Clearlink Send at the end of a pedalboard, it receives a buffered balanced XLR signal and converts it back to a properly matched 1/4 inch unbalanced signal for your instrument amplifier.
It is also an effective solution for eliminating ground loops and other noise issues caused by shared grounds, such as in multi amp switching setups. In addition, it handles balanced XLR to 1/4 inch unbalanced conversion for a wide range of professional signal sources.
In the studio, the Clearlink Receive allows for long cable runs from the control room to a separate live or cutting room where an amplifier is mic’d, without compromising tone. It features a studio quality buffer circuit, isolation transformer, ground lift and phase flip switches, offering maximum flexibility in demanding setups.
For optimal tone preservation in a guitar rig, combine a STOWAWAY before the pedalboard, a Clearlink Send at the end of the board and a Clearlink Receive at the amplifier for reliable conversion and full tone recovery.
