The Slovak brand Dowina was founded in 1979 by Stanislav Petko Marinov. The Master Series represents the top model in their range, where solid tonewood and meticulous craftsmanship are the norm.
The Bona Vida is Dowina's parlor model, and this compact guitar has a lot to offer! Dolomite spruce was chosen for the top, supported by fan bracing for a truly different tonal character compared to a guitar with X-bracing. The beautiful rosette, together with the maple binding and herringbone purfling, provides fitting embellishment.
This Dowina was built in 2022 and shows signs of wear and dings on the top. On the back of the body, we find some light buckle wear, and there are some small dents on the edges of the headstock. The guitar otherwise looks very neat and comes with a TFOA passport in a gig bag.
